Job Description Summary:

This job has 24/7 accountability for overseeing the accuracy and availability of supplies and equipment used in the preparation and delivery of care on a designated campus and/or Free Standing ED. This includes management of supplies, loaner equipment and instruments and any specialty supplies/services/equipment for the specialty cart preparation, supply and linen inventory locations. He/She is responsible for mentoring, training, education and direct supervision of new and tenured staff. He/She is also required to build trusting relationships with Physicians, Clinicians and staff to ensure efficient operations and logistics to support the daily Emergency Room workload and the campus requirement with inventory replenishment and accuracy.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School or GED (Required)

3 to 5 years Experience in supply Chain operations or related field. Excellent computer skills in Excel, Word and Lotus Notes and ability to demonstrate critical thinking and problem solving skills and to work in high pressure situations. 3 to 5 yrs. of supervisory or management Experience ; 1 2 yrs. Logistics inventory management Experience ; excellent communication and analytical skills (verbal and written).
