Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for an Supply Chain Management Analyst (Level 1 or Level 2) to join our Boeing Salt Lake Supply Chain Operations team in Salt Lake City, Utah.

The Supply Chain Analyst will have responsibility across all airplane programs. This position will incorporate change and planning decisions to arrive at optimal solutions. The Statement of Work includes standard Supply Chain Management functions, data analysis, forecasting, supply and/or demand troubleshooting, and additional duties as assigned.

This is a motivated team that works together to solve complicated supply chain problems and enable successful production. You will contribute as a team member alongside subject matter experts in the field of supply chain, inventory management and expedite to deliver solutions that help The Boeing Company deliver safe, better and more efficient airplanes and products.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Assists in incorporating change and planning decisions.

  • Learns Supply Chain Management (SCM) methodologies.

  • Learns how to analyze material requirements.

  • Assists in incorporating schedules into a production plan.

  • Assists in maintaining part number attributes.

  • Reviews material planning system output.

  • Assists in releasing and maintaining orders.

  • Assists in coordinating with suppliers and customers.

  • Assists in performing inventory and materials management processes.

  • Dispositions excess and obsolete inventories.

  • Assists in maintaining schedules for products and services.

  • Supports the implementation of process improvements.

  • Work under close supervisor.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 1+ years of experience working with Microsoft Office tools such as Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word

  • 1+ years of experience working in a role that required strong interpersonal and communicating skills

  • 1+ years of experience/education with supply chain management or materials management

  • 1+ years of experience/education in scheduling and ordering inventories/supplies

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Typical Education/Experience:

Entry Level - Level 1:

Related work experience, relevant military experience, or advanced degree preferred, but not required.

Associate Level - Level 2:

Typically, 3 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Summary pay range Entry Level - Level 1: $53,000 - $71,000

Summary pay range Associate Level - Level 2: $62,000 - $84,000
