Job Summary

This individual will be focused on process improvement, organization and accuracy of reference material, working with operations management to ensure appropriate staff development programs are in place, and making sure that procedures are documented consistently across operational teams.  This individual will be responsible building a complete resource database within Kiwi specific to the Onyx platform including information pertaining to products, processes, tax reporting, state insurance regulations, federal regulations, and any other information pertinent to administering annuity products.  There will need to be specific controls built to ensure all material updated or added is accurate and complete. This person will work closely with our Learning and Development team to ensure we are providing both onetime and refresher trainings throughout the year. To be effective in As the Director, Product Implementation the individual will need to possess strong analytical skills, have relevant industry experience, strong annuity product knowledge and the ability to multitask

Main Accountabilities

  • Analyze operational processes, look for and implement efficiencies while building or maintaining written processing guidelines.
  • Build out Kiwi to account for Onyx products, processes and procedures. We need a centralized searchable data base where almost any question a processor or phone rep would have is accessible and specific to Onyx business.  There should be controls in place for updating or creating new content.
  • Coordinate with the Learning and Development Team to train operations on new processes and as well as a variety of relevant topics such as products, product features and annuity taxation.
  • Work with management staff on building out induvial and team based performance metrics.
  • Create onboarding videos/documentation that could be used with contractors that are brought on to help with peek volumes.
  • Participate in the review, selection, and execution of any new technological investments.
  • Have a detailed understanding of state, SEC/FINRA, and IRS regulations and help coordinate any data base or process updates when changes occur

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of related industry experience
  • Strong knowledge of annuity products and industry product trends
  • Experience with all aspects of Annuity Operations
  • Experience with training and development of insurance company employees
  • Understanding of state and federal regulations pertaining to annuities
  • Strong problem solving and as well as written and verbal communication
  • Ability to work with a diverse group of stakeholders
