We are seeking a highly skilled and expert Senior Business Analyst to join our Marketing Transformation team to support defining the business needs, mapping process, and use cases to deliver our MarTech roadmap. The candidate will play a crucial role in analyzing and understanding complex business processes, identifying areas of improvement, and providing strategic reporting to enhance operational efficiency and drive business growth. They will collaborate across teams to capture requirements, test technical solutions, conduct and present detailed analysis, assess and report benefits, and translate business needs into actionable solutions. We are looking for an individual who is hardworking, driven, possesses strong analytical, communication and deck building skills, with a deep understanding of business operations, strong time management skills and an ability to prioritize.
Core Responsibilities:
Collaborate with partners across the department and company to capture and document business requirements, ensuring a clear understanding of objectives and expectations.
Own and lead comprehensive mapping and analysis of existing business processes, systems, and workflows to identify areas for improvement and optimization
Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including business process models, use cases, RACI grids, project charters, workback schedules, and functional specifications
Analyze and interpret complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive informed decision-making
Collect, analyze, and communicate qualitative and quantitative benefits to collaborators throughout all areas of the business
Lead workshops and meetings to drive consensus among team members, ensuring equal participation and valuing diverse viewpoints.
Collaborate with technical teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and ensure successful implementation, considering accessibility and inclusivity in design.
Perform user testing from a business perspective and work with technical teams to iterate product launches to deliver to the end stakeholder users in Marketing
Own reporting efforts to supervise and measure critical success metrics and proactively make recommendations to improve performance
Create processes and systems to proactively manage use cases, projects, reporting, and deliverables that build the MarTech roadmap
Prepare presentation decks for executive stakeholders and present analyses and recommendations
Support the Marketing Transformation team with meeting management support, change management plans, analyses, deck preparation, and other ad hoc requests
Collaborate with working teams and leads to ensure successful project delivery, including scope management, timeline adherence, and quality assurance
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Marketing or equivalent experience is a plus.
Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a senior or lead role, working on complex projects in large organizations, while demonstrating a strong dedication to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather, interpret, and analyze sophisticated data sets
Superb communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members at all levels.
Proficient in business analysis tools and techniques, such as process modeling, use case development, and requirements gathering along with solid grasp of project management methodologies and practices
Well-versed in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and other Microsoft Suite products
Experience working in Agile, or Scrum environments is highly desirable.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and lead multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, while considering the needs and perspectives of others
Experience with Marketing technology platforms i.e. Data platforms (MicroStrategy, Google Looker, SAS, Teradata), CDP, Workfront, Adobe tools, JIRA, Coda, Salesforce marketing cloud, etc.
Experience in reporting on success metrics
Professional certifications such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or PMI-PBA (Professional in Business Analysis) are a plus.
