OVERVIEW:

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

A Retail Loss Prevention Associate is responsible for providing excellent customer experiences by engaging in high levels of service at the entrance of the store.  They will greet all customers entering and exiting the store and provide direction as needed.  Mitigating shoplifting and grab go exposure will be an addition function of this role. 

  • Greet and engage each customer entering the store to determine their shopping needs; direct them to the appropriate area of the store based on their needs.

  • Stay actively engaged at the front entrance and provide direction for customers and communication to store associates and management.

  • Reverse greet all customers exiting the store and thank them for their business.  Report all suspicious behaviors to the Head Coach.

  • Monitor front end inventories and assist customers with front end product.

  • Respond to EAS alarms.

  • Initiate theft mitigation strategies as needed.

  • Adhere to established policies and procedures related to safety, loss prevention and standard operating procedures. Maintains confidentiality of all Company information.

  • Create an inclusive store environment where everyone (teammates and customer) feels welcome, safe, and is treated with respect.

  • Take an all-hands-on-deck approach to support the team across the store.

  • Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Security or Loss Prevention experience preferred
