Basic Purpose/Function:

The Assembly Team Leader is a working member of the ISO Production Team responsible for leading production teams on various projects. Team leader is responsible for the OTP of his team, hours/efficiency, resolving issues found throughout the production process, and leading process improvements. The Team leader must posses good leadership/ interpersonal and communications skills with the ability to interact with other production teams, leaders, and engineering. The Team Lead must also be willing to provide constructive feedback and resolve interpersonal issues promptly.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Maintain daily communications with supervisor, assemblers and Plant Manager.
  • Reinforce team development including training.
  • Assist the team in problem solving and decision-making efforts.
  • Organize team resources to meet build schedule.
  • Ensure quality expectations are met.
  • Act as the key communicator with engineering/office support for changes and updates to products and process.
  • Track and measure team performance and efficiencies against set goals.
  • Be able to perform any other duties as assigned by Supervisor/ Manager.

Basic and/or Desired Qualifications may include, but are not limited to:
•Excellent written and verbal communications skills 
•Demonstrated proficiency in mathematical and analytical skills 
•Working with Microsoft Excel, Word, Power point, and Access
•Good attendance record
•Ability to maintain accurate and complete records

Top candidates will also have:
•Previous leadership experience in a manufacturing or logistics operation
•Demonstrated Lean Manufacturing experience
