Varec, a Leidos company is currently searching for a Mechanical Assembler to support Varec’s customers in Georgia, and other U.S. areas. The qualified candidate for this position will provide on-site assembly duties to Varec for Tank Gauging and Liquid Inventory Management Systems. Location: Candidate will need to be within commuting distance of Peachtree Corners GA and be on site 5 days a week

Shift: Monday through Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm EST

This position requires the selected candidate to work through a temp agency for 6 months before conversion to a Leidos employee.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Complete activities as directed in a daily schedule
• Build mechanical items per schematics and Bill of Materials using small hand tools and bench equipment
• Assemble products per documented electronic schematics and wiring diagrams
• Pack orders per Bill of Materials

What Sets You Apart: (Basic Requirements):

• High School diploma or GED with one year or less of relevant experience
• Able to lift up to 70 lbs unassisted

Pay Range $28,600.00 - $51,700.00
