This role is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic, driven digital marketeer to make their mark across both consumer and B2B audiences. A self-starter, the ideal candidate will be a pro-active and creative individual with experience working across digital marketing channels either in-house or agency-side, be able to devise and deliver strategies but also not be afraid to roll your sleeves up and get the job done. You will manage all Zipcar UK’s digital marketing portfolio, leading the charge for continuing Zipcar UK’s growth.


Responsibilities

  • Manage Zipcar UK’s digital and performance channels. This includes PPC, Meta, TikTok, Display and YouTube. Ideally have a working knowledge of the platforms themselves.
  • Define and execute an online marketing strategic plan that focusses on building brand awareness, attracting the right type of applications and converting them too.
  • Monitoring performance marketing metrics and focussing on efficient top line growth and ROI.
  • Manage Zipcar UK’s digital marketing agency. Collaborate with them to set the strategy and reporting, as well as hold them to account to targets.
  • Oversee the Zipcar UK website. Set the CRO plan, report on results and work with US-based dev team to improve site performance.
  • Collaborate closely with the product managers and engineers in our US office on all things tech. Feeding into dev requirements, project updates and more.
  • Responsible for two direct reports: one Performance Marketing Assistant, the other Insights Analyst.
  • Managing acquisition and retention across both consumer and B2B businesses for Zipcar UK.
  • Forecast channel performance across multiple channels, supporting strategic planning initiatives.
  • Organised with strong prioritisation skills. Eager to learn and deliver on more than one thing at a time; focused on delivery and outcomes
  • Work with the wider marketing team to feedback on and create engaging content and creative to be used across Paid channels.
  • Alongside agencies, be responsible for analysis and on-going optimisation of all marketing channels.
  • Research, identify and implement new opportunities and channels for digital growth.
  • Reporting into Head of Marketing and working closely with wider marketing team (brand, CRM, organic social media).

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent, with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in digital marketing.
  • Experience in managing paid digital marketing channels (either directly or via agencies). Notably Meta, TikTok, PPC and Display.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan strategically, generating ideas and activity that will increase revenue and generate customer acquisition, conversion and retention.
  • Experience, or understanding in the fundamentals of, managing site SEO.
  • Strong data analysis skills.
  • Highly energetic and self-motivated.
  • Results driven: a keen focus on ROI, CPAs as well as overall revenue and customer growth.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritise and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Working and hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Google Analytics, Meta for Business.
