What you'll do

In your new role as a Business Analyst within the European Banking Authority (EBA) Stress Testing programme, you’ll be managing the analysis of complex cross franchise and pan bank requirements, while capturing, validating and documenting business and system requirements and making sure that they are in line with key strategic principles.

In the course of your work, we’ll also look to you to build, manage and maintain a positive working relationship with stakeholders and third party suppliers across multiple franchises and functions. You’ll also be creating and maintaining documentation, as well as supporting controls and quality assurance for key stakeholders and suppliers.

You’ll also:

• Analyse and document data requirements for the EBA stress testing requirements for the annual submission
• Identify and support implementation and business handover tasks
• Trace and link business requirements to future state design
• Create and execute test scenarios and test scripts at various stages of the project in order to validate the solution design
• Facilitate user acceptance testing and support business users in executing the user acceptance testing
• Document technology, process and data changes required to deliver a target state that aligns to the Risk & Finance Architecture and Data strategies
• Lead working groups to make sure all stakeholders are engaged and support a successful delivery

The skills you'll need

You’ll need to hold an appropriate business analyst certification, or demonstrate significant relevant business analysis experience. Additionally, you’ll have an analytical mindset, with strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise your work.

Ideally, you’ll also have experience of EBA or European Central Bank and Bank of England or Annual Cyclical Scenario stress testing, particularly within credit risk and market risk.

You’ll also need:

• Experience of applying business analysis tools and techniques
• Experience working in regulatory change projects and programmes, particularly within data intensive or complex change
• A background of delivering business analysis in a project, technology or IT function
• Strong stakeholder management skills
