Executive Assistant to 2 x General Managers

Group Legal and Governance is responsible for delivering Legal Services within the Group and providing corporate governance and corporate secretariat services to the Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA) Board and its subsidiary companies.

Group Services Legal works with the Group's business units and their support functions to help achieve their strategic goals and priorities through the provision of expert, commercially focused legal advice.

This is a permanent full time role based at Sydney CBD office.. We also offer hybrid working and a flexible workplace.

In this role you will provide executive support to the General Manager Disputes Legal COE and  General Manager Employment Legal COE. Your responsibilities will be as follows but not limited to:

  • Diary management to minimise conflicts and to ensure appropriate and effective use of time.
  • General administration support including assistance with collation of pre reading materials, PowerPoint presentations, complex word documents and excel spreadsheets.
  • Liaise with various business units/external parties and stakeholders on presentations, meetings and other attendance requirements.
  • Provide assistance and support in managing IT support requests and related IT purchases.
  • Undertake HR and on-boarding/off-boarding tasks as directed including set up of new employees, position management and all other non-remuneration based requests.
  • Be an active and supportive member of the Group Services Legal administration team, taking on wider office administration and a support role as required

We're interested in hearing from people who:

  • Have previous Executive Assistant experience, that is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrate strong proof reading ability with excellent communication, stakeholder management skills and strong organisational skills.
  • Have an ability to prioritise heavy and constant workloads and continue to meet deadlines and work autonomously.
