Governance, Risk, and Compliance Business Analyst - Military Bridge Program

Description -

At HP, we understand the unique challenges faced by military personnel transitioning to civilian life. Our Military Bridge program, in partnership with Hiring for Heroes, offers a tailored 12-week curriculum to equip those transitioning out of active duty with the skills and support needed for successful transition their careers.

Duration: August 26- November 14, 2024

About the opportunity:

  • Securing the enterprise through comprehensive risk management, effective governance, pragmatic compliance, and engaging awareness and training.
  • Governance  -  Implement policies and ensure they are executed.
  • Risk Management  -  Reduce risk and uncertainty through the establishment of business objectives and governance mechanisms.
  • Compliance  -  Adhere to business rules, policies, and guidelines whether they are internally established or externally implemented.

Responsibilities:

  • Support Cybersecurity’s Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance program by performing risk analysis, responding to internal business inquiries regarding GRC service offerings, and supporting workflows across Governance, Risk and Compliance pillars.
  • Assist the Head of GRC in creating and improving processes to improve quantification of cybersecurity risks at strategic, organizational, and operational levels. 
  • Apply data driven insights to learn about and implement models to automate metrics and KRIs and KPIs as part of our cybersecurity.
  • Support Team conducting analysis gathering via survey, helping to submit, receive, analysis, and report on results.

Experience and skills needed:

  • Risk management and/or compliance experience. 

Transferrable skills may include: 

  • Experience in data analysis and/or analytics; regulatory compliance, risk assessment.
  • Good understanding or experience with risk mitigation concepts.
  • Good understanding or experience with Project or Program concepts.
  • Good attention to details and communication skills.
