Position Summary
The Project Manager is responsible for the successful planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure of projects. This role involves coordinating resources, managing stakeholders, and ensuring that projects are delivered within scope, schedule, and budget constraints. Projects will include, but not be limited to, marketing and communications across numerous channels and for various clients.
Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Management
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Track project progress against timelines, identify deviations, and take corrective actions as necessary to keep the project on schedule.
- Monitor project budgets and expenditures, ensuring that spending remains within approved limits.
- Manage a mix of longer-term campaign projects and more volume-based executional assignments.
Communication & Stakeholder Management
- Clearly communicate next steps along project lifecycle.
- Manage internal communications: internal reviews and feedback from all stakeholders.
Risk Management & Mitigation
- Anticipate potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact on project outcomes.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Salary Range
$58,400.00 - $99,700.00 / Annually
The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
