Position Overview:
This role is responsible for partnering with hiring managers to provide the highest level of service in bringing top talent into the organization. The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for driving the recruitment process for assigned openings, building the talent pipeline, ensuring a positive candidate experience, and for promoting Insulet as an employer of choice. This role ensures that the recruiting process moves efficiently and that we are effectively identifying and hiring the top talent needed to achieve business goals.

Responsibilities:
• Creatively source qualified candidates from a variety of sources such as Internet, referrals, networking groups, niche job boards, and other traditional and non-traditional methods to build the talent pipeline to fill current and future openings.
• Provide full lifecycle recruitment activities for technical, specialized and executive level positions. Conduct phone and in-person interviews to assess candidate background, experience, and competencies. Assess candidate’s work history, education, job skills, compensation requirements, etc. as it relates to position specifications. Prescreen and present qualified candidates to hiring managers.
• Manage and coordinate appropriate communications with candidates during the interview process while maintaining candidate relationships. Educate and excite candidates on the company, culture, opportunity, and total rewards package.
• Manage the hiring process. Pre-close candidates, prepare and present offers, and provide negotiation support as needed.
• Network with industry contacts, associations, trade groups and coworkers to benchmark and identify best practices.
• Develop and sustain positive working relationships with internal customers, and coworkers, including members of the Executive Team
• Create and maintain requisitions, sourcing, and candidates and recruitment activity within the Applicant Tracking System.
• Ensure and maintain compliance with federal, state and local employment laws.
• Perform other duties as required.

Education and Experience:
• BA/BS degree preferred, with a minimum of 3 years of full-cycle technical recruitment experience, preferably in the medical device industry.
Minimum Requirements:
• Demonstrated expertise utilizing Microsoft Office, Internet recruiting tools, and Applicant Tracking System (ATS). Advanced internet recruiting and Boolean search string skills.
• Knowledgeable on federal and state laws regarding employment practices.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written). Demonstrated experience developing consultative partnerships with hiring managers and Executive Team Members.
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction/supervision.

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, systems and processes.
