Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Support the ongoing design, configuration, and maintenance of multiple HCM functional areas such as recruiting, benefits, compensation, absence management, time tracking, payroll, talent, or performance management modules.
- Configure security and assign roles as needed and approved.
- Gather requirements from subject matter experts and translate business needs into functional and technical solutions.
- Identify opportunities for automation via Workday custom reporting and other technical solutions
- Lead discussions and testing of new functionality related to system upgrades and releases.
- Ensure data integrity through regular data validations and audits.
- Create and maintain documentation of business processes.
- Contribute to the overall HR team effort in delivering high-quality service and projects.
- Make recommendations to improve processes and efficiency.
- Assist with coordination of and/or lead efforts for a wide variety of ongoing or annual HR projects.
Required Experience and Skills:
- 2+ years of designing, configuring, and supporting multiple Workday functional areas.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively balance and complete multiple projects and deliverables within expected timeframes and deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to interact in a professional manner with internal and external stakeholders, use tact and diplomacy, maintain confidentiality, and appropriately handle and communicate controversial or sensitive information
- Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize tasks and adjust to changes in priorities and situations to meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate, analyze, and summarize data and facts, establish logical connections, and form sound decisions based on analysis.
Preferred Experience and Skills
- Advanced understanding and experience with security administration and integrations.
- Experience configuring Workday for a global company
- Experience building dashboards, creating advanced, matrix, and composite reports
- Bachelor’s (or Master’s) degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related fields.
