Overview:

We’re looking for a dynamic marketer with a background in customer lifecycle, martech, and agile to help develop innovative ideas to drive customer growth for our CVS Beauty business. 

What you’ll do:

The Senior Manager of Marketing, Enterprise Marketing Activation is responsible for proactively identifying enterprise brand campaign and platform opportunities and bringing those to life creatively.  This individual will need to have tight connections with the business unit Marketing teams to ensure our priority enterprise brand platforms appropriately pull through each business unit.  You will be a steward of our priority customer segments to unlock unique and rich insights that will lead to platforms that resonate with consumers and differentiate us from the competition, functionally and emotionally.  You will also be responsible for identifying the right KPIs and measurement strategies to measure effectiveness, both short-term and long-term impact. 

We’re looking for a wholistic modern marketer who has a proven track record in building brands by reaching audiences during relevant moments, testing and validating emerging ideas, and delivering leading omni-experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop deep knowledge of all CVS Health business units and use data and insights to unlock opportunities for red threads across the business units that reinforce the connection of the CVS Health brand.

  • Influence leadership and peers with knowledge of the customer and industry by tracking current market trends, synthesizing CVS customer behavioral data and social listening. 

  • Seamlessly pivot back and forth from providing thoughtful insight on strategic marketing efforts and day-to-day project management of campaigns in development.

  • Identify and focus on key customer outcomes, leveraging an agile mindset, to develop wholistic marketing strategies – optimize what is working, propose scalable opportunities, and sunset as-appropriate. 

  • Proactive self-education around retail, healthcare, and marketing industry trends / best practices to identify opportunities that are consistent with and reinforce the CVS Health brand.

  • A passion for consumer behavior and brand building

  • Ability to leverage new CVS martech tools to fullest capacity and propose new useful tools, technology, partnerships. 

  • Partner with media, CRM, and digital teams to identify the right ways to communicate CVS Health brand stories to consumers in ways that are both effective and efficient.

In order to be successful in this role you must exhibit the following:

  • Strong ability to use data, insights, and storytelling to impact and influence business unit teams to prioritize enterprise marketing efforts.

  • Big thinker that can unlock powerful insights and brand campaign platforms.

  • Willingness to lead and do – roll up sleeves.

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of marketing experience with a strong foundation in business.

  • 5+ years of consulting experience.

  • 2+ years of brand campaign management and/or brand strategy experience.

  • 2+ years of digital marketing experience including examples of testing and validating emerging opportunities.

  • 2+ years of marketing analytics sufficient to project program results and track/interpret them.

  • 2+ years of agile marketing experience with an understanding of testing methodologies. 

  • 1+ years partnering with outside agencies, holding them accountable, while being a strong partner.

  • Ability to travel up to 20%.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of brand or category management experience a plus.

  • Proven track record of the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external business partners in delivery ROI positive results.

  • Intellectual curiosity and rigorous analytical experience, ability to use data to build a business case & marketing plan.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset focused on driving outcomes over output.

  • Desire to learn more about every facet of the CVS Health enterprise – from retail to insurance to healthcare delivery.

  • Self-motivated, high capacity individual who can function and win in a demanding, performance-driven environment.

  • Excellent communication skills that can be effectively articulated in both written and oral forms across a diverse audience base.

  • Creative problem solver who can incorporate new learnings into existing plans and act decisively and independently.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field. MBA preferred.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$82,940.00 - $182,549.40


This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.  This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
