Snap India has been a cornerstone of Snap’s growth since 2019. Snap has made significant investments in localizing the app and has successfully built a highly engaged Snapchatter community in India. We are looking for a Associate, Talent Partnerships, to join Snap Inc. based in Mumbai. In this full-time position, you will report directly to the Content and Partnership Head of Snap India. As a member of the Partnerships team, you will deepen Snap’s relevance and impact in Indian pop-culture. You will also collaborate with our local cross-functional business teams in India and the global Content & Partnerships teams.
What you’ll do:
You will support the Snap creator community by partnering with the most culture moving events and moments in India.
You will craft and execute alliances and tie-ups with IPs, Events, Talent, Organisations to drive impact for Snap and its Content partners. This includes Movies & Music Releases, Artist & Athlete moments, Concerts, Festivals, Tournaments.
You will develop playbooks, which utilise Snap’s unique platform capabilities, across Product, Creators and Content, and bring those to bear in such partnerships.
You will work cross-functionally with teams across Talent Partnerships, AR partnerships, Programming & Insights, Marketing, Comms, Growth and Sales to drive value.
You will build a calendar for such activations, and own outcomes including the nature and extent of creator engagement, content output and innovation quotient from such partnerships.
Serve as a spokesperson for Snapchat with partners.
Contribute to Snapchat’s editorial perspective in current events around entertainment, music, sports, lifestyle, and fashion.
Minimum Qualifications:
6-9 years of experience working in consumer marketing, partnerships or alliances role in a consumer facing business.
Experience in driving consumer impact via pop-culture associations including events, movie/music tie-ups, barters.
Proven track record in conceptualising and crafting organic partnerships and driving projects independently.
Experience using Snapchat and passion for growing its community in India and the world.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in consumer tech, especially digital content or video-first platforms, with a deep knowledge of and experience with the creator ecosystem.
Strong editorial judgment, and has deep knowledge of pop-culture including the latest trends in entertainment, sports, lifestyle, and fashion.
Expertise in working independently and cross-functionally to drive multiple projects at the same time.
Strong program and project management skills - should be able to run and develop processes and rapidly scale initiatives.
Be a self-starter, with an entrepreneurial spirit and a strong execution mindset - passionate about transforming ideas into impact.
Attention to detail, ability to troubleshoot and thrive in a time-sensitive, dynamic operating environment.
Experience in leveraging rolodex of industry and creator contacts to create alliances and partnerships.
Firm command of communication and presentation skills, and the ability to influence multiple stakeholders, internally and externally, towards a common goal.
