Job Summary:

As a Learning & Development Coordinator, you will be instrumental in building a pipeline of future representatives for Caterpillar. This position assists in Caterpillar’s formal development and recruiting program for entry and mid-level Machine and Engine, Aftermarket, Sales and Service Representatives in Southeast Asia. Learning & Development Coordinator leads the design, implementation and support of people and organizational development initiatives and practices.

What You Will Do:

  • Assist in the organization of a 10–12-week training program, called MTC, across different countries.

  • Focus on Employee Experience, ensuring participants can get optimal learning outcomes.

  • Attend the MTC bedrock and assist with implementing continuous improvement to program and its delivery.

  • Provide mentoring to pre field marketing representatives and have the opportunity to become a Clifton Strengths Finder Coach.

  • Administer, coordinate, and track the Pre-field marketing representatives during their rotational assignments; assist and coordinate visa requests.

  • Potentially support the recruiting and hiring of between 15 to 30 new marketing representatives each year. This requires coordination of in-office interviews, career fairs, and initial resume screening.

  • Be part of global team of coordinators to help support regional and enterprise talent intiatives

  • Responsibility for organizing and executing ad-hoc trainings of 1 to 2 weeks at a time throughout the year.

  • Support the mass-enrolment to other third-party training sessions for the whole company.

  • Solicits customer satisfaction feedback and acts on improvement opportunities.

  • Meets regularly with stakeholders to understand their wants, needs and expectations.

Stakeholder Management

  • Establish and maintain healthy working relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Works collaboratively to address critical issues and resolve major problems.

Top Candidates Also Have:

  • Experience in event execution

  • Ability to build strong relationships with various stakeholders

  • Program management experience

  • Knowledge of Training Delivery, training tools, and techniques

Additional Info:

This position requires travelling about 20% of the time.
