Job Description:
Reporting to the Learning, Development manager, the Learning & Development Consultant partners with Group Claims and Absence Claims business unit leaders to develop performance and learning solutions for Absence Claims Specialists new hires and existing employees. This role has a strong emphasis on digital learning solutions and remote facilitation.

Knowledge and expertise in Group Claims/Absence Claims
Skilled at creating, and supporting, digital solutions
Instructional design expertise

Ability to translate business goals into desired on-the-job performance
Ability to determine whether training is part of a viable solution to correct performance gaps
Keen interest in technology and emerging solutions
Strong presentation skills
Responsibilities
Design, deliver and maintain new hire training programs pertinent to Group Claims knowledge, in particular Absence Claims for newly hired Claims Specialists
Design learning solutions using various digital tools and platforms
Conduct root cause analysis work with other Learning and Quality professionals, and propose recommendations to business leaders to enhance department performance
Coordinate testing of solutions with business partners and report on results
Track results and outcomes of learning solutions and determine ROI
Monitor the progress of training courses and evaluate their effectiveness, making changes and updates as needed based on data and metrics
Share and collaborate with other Sun Life team members experts across the globe
Follows up with clients and work groups to evaluate new and existing training programs, materials, and job aids
Benchmarks internally and externally to leverage best practices
TRAVEL: This role may also be required to limited travel to some or all the Sun Life US offices to support deployment initiatives, build relationships with team members, and understand client needs.

If you are a California resident, the salary range for this position is:
Southern region: $59,800-$89,700 annually
Central region: $63,000-$94,500 annually
Northern region: $$67,400-$101,100 annually
If you are a Colorado or Nevada or MN resident, the salary range for this position is $57,000-$85,500 annually.
If you are a Connecticut or Maryland resident, the salary range for this position is $59,800-$89,700annually.
If you are Washington or Rhode Island resident, the salary range for this position is $63,000-$94,500 annually.
If you are a New York resident, the salary range for this position is $67,400-$101,100 annually.
The full range minimum and maximum listed in the job posting is tied to the GCF level and job family.
