What You Will Do:

Guidehouse is a looking for a Senior Consultant with experience helping clients to think creatively and improve how they do business as they respond to a variety of operational challenges. From defining, measuring, analyzing, and improving business processes to guiding true change with the client, you will experience firsthand the full lifecycle of process improvement and implementation. In this role, you will have the opportunity to help our clients at a large federal health agency accomplish their goals, enabling program transformation and sustainable, human-centered change. What You Will Need:

  • 5+ years of experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • The ability to obtain a public trust clearance
  • Ability to contribute to the implementation of new systems and processes, including planning, training, evaluation and documenting of outcomes
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to produce client-ready deliverables
  • Ability to effectively communicate process and business implications of technically complex products and services through multiple modern mediums
  • Comfort publicly speaking (in-person and digitally) and leading training for large groups of stakeholders
  • Actively participates in client-facing discussions and meetings and cultivates trust and business relationships with a broad group of client SMEs
  • Able to proactively identify and assesses risks as well as suggest mitigation strategies
  • Able to support the development of federal budgets, project plans, operational and risk assessments, and organizational structures that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of government agencies
  • Ability to work independently but with oversight from management


What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Master's degree
  • One or more of the following certifications:
    • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
    • Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP)
    • Prosci
    • Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP)
    • Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
    • Scrum Master
    • Lean Six Sigma Green / Black Belt
    • Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM)
  • Experience utilizing data visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau) to produce dashboards and data-driven tools
  • Experience developing and maintaining SharePoint sites and tools
  • Experiences with Federal business development and the ability to perform research on key accounts to effectively qualify and scope new business opportunities
  • Experience working with software development and the Scrum methodology
  • Experience internally managing project budgets
