Responsibilities:

  • Conducting thematic reviews of the bank’s lending portfolio performance and credit risks analysis.
  • To conduct in-depth portfolio analysis of PFS Portfolio including Mortgage, Hire Purchase, Credit Card, Unsecured Personal Loan, ASB to Senior Management, External Auditor and BNM regulatory.
  • Work closely with MIS programming team on monthly data extraction to ensure comply data integrity inclusive identify trends and patterns by products/ sectors/ segments to highlight potential credit risks or opportunities.
  • To prepare and assist weekly division/ departmental cost centres monitoring to ensure fixed & variables transactions are within the budgeting and forecasting analysis reporting.
  • Identifying areas of improvement and provide recommendations for lending policies, procedures, or risk management practices.
  • Support and addressing key highlights for management decision making.
  • Support and handle ad-hoc audit portfolio analysis requirement by BNM and other stakeholders.
  • Prepare departmental yearly budgeting/ forecasting reconciliation and analysis by cost centres level.
  • Maintaining documentations and committed to meeting tight deadlines.
  • Implement and improvise the process control flow to safeguard company financial performance and ensure compliance with accounting/ regulatory standards.
  • Exposure on the effectiveness cross-functional collaboration with other departments for dynamic reporting to ensure thematic review and financial control analytics conducted are comprehensive with action plans on timely manner.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in finance, accounting, economics, statistics, computer science or related field.
  • At least 3 - 5 years experience in credit portfolio analysis, credit risk management or related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools such as Smart View Enterprise Performance Management (EPM), SQL, Tableau, R programming, Phyton are value added.
