**Rota:** 42 hours per week with 1:6 Weekends Sat and Sun. There is flexibility on weekly hours

**Your role and responsibilities**

Village Vet Hampstead has a new fantastic opportunity for a Lead Veterinary Nurse. In this role, you will be responsible for line managing our Nursing team and overseeing the day-to-day coordination of our hospital. You'll work closely with the nurse leads and SLT team, to develop excellent relationships with your direct reports and ensure high-quality contextual care for our patients. You will be provided with line manager training among other key training to help you support and mentor SVNs and PCAs.

Village Vet Hampstead is a 24-hour RCVS accredited small animal hospital that provides quality contextual care for its patients and offers out-of-hours and emergency cover to over 32 primary care clinics and a specialist referral clinic in the North London area. It is an amazing place to see a unique caseload, surrounded by like-minded staff who want to provide the very best care.

We have a team of dedicated vets and nurses, supported by our neighboring referral arm, London Veterinary Specialists (located just across the square). The dynamic team currently consists of over 15 RVNs with varying degrees of experience, over 16 RVNs, 5 student nurses, 6 Pet Care Assistants, and a well-staffed reception, admin, and support staff team.
