Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Ambulatory – Float Pool

The Float Pool provides a unique experience for caregivers to care for diverse populations of patients in many units, departments and/or locations while learning from many of our best caregivers. The caregiver in this position will support Cleveland Clinic Parkland, Coral Springs, Wellington, Concierge West Palm Beach and Palm Beach Gardens locations.
Float Pool Scheduling Expectations:
PRN requirement is two weekdays per week. Our clinics are open Monday through Friday, no weekends.
Shifts are 8 hours, roughly 8am-5pm including 1 hour for lunch.
Willing to travel. This positions primary supports Palm Beach County (Wellington, West Palm Beach, and Palm Beach Gardens). Per diem caregivers are sometimes asked to go to our locations in Coral Springs, Parkland, and Weston if there is an urgent staffing need. We do offer travel reimbursement including tolls to farther locations.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Implement patient care.
Complete nursing documentation.
Assess and document pain management.
Recognize and communicate changes in patients’ condition.
Report pertinent information to a Charge Nurse or Physician.
Follow code protocols.
Minimum qualifications for a caregiver in this role are:
Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
Florida Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Knowledge of infection control practices.
Computer literate.
Preferred qualifications for the ideal caregiver are:
One year of clinical experience.
Cardiology areas: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
