What You’ll Do

At Hitachi Cooling and Heating Solutions UK & IRE, we’re growing our business and are looking for a Sales Manager to build long-term, trusting relationships with our customers. Your primary responsibility will be to develop strong partnerships with our distribution partners and their clients while driving sales of our RAC, PAC, and residential & commercial heating systems.

This is a national role covering the Midlands up to Manchester.

How You’ll Do It

  • Serve as the primary contact for all customer account management needs

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships

  • Provide design and application guidance to promote energy-efficient solutions

  • Collaborate closely with customers to negotiate and close projects that align with business goals

  • Identify new business opportunities and explore areas for improvement to meet sales targets

  • Forecast and track key metrics (e.g., quarterly sales results and annual forecasts) using Salesforce

  • Introduce our product portfolio proactively, helping clients make informed decisions

  • Deliver presentations on product features, CPDs, and legislative requirements

What We’re Looking For

Required

  • At least 4 years of technical experience in HVAC (experience with Hitachi or competitor offerings preferred)

  • Expertise in air conditioning, chillers, heating, and control systems, with the ability to guide clients through design concepts

  • Knowledge of current legislation and compliance requirements

  • Experience delivering presentations and system training to customers

  • Strong technical competence in system design

  • Ability to manage multiple client requests effectively
