That’s why we continue to think of outside-the-Chewy-box ways to delight, surprise, and thank our loyal pet lovers!  We are seeking a dedicated Senior Executive Assistant to support Senior Executive Leaders located in our corporate offices in Plantation, Florida. You will provide high-quality strategic, administrative, and technical assistance to our General Counsel and the Legal Team. Key responsibilities include managing daily departmental operations, senior leader calendars, and project management, owning communications for key company executives and inspiring change for the business. To be successful in this role, you should be proactive with a collaborative approach, meet deadlines, be highly organized, communicate optimally, demonstrate critical thinking and problem solving, and demonstrate your knowledge of the business to anticipate and resolve issues/needs.

What you will do:

  • Perform foundational EA responsibilities such as
    • High volume calendaring via Microsoft Outlook for multiple leaders
    • Make and supervise travel arrangements
    • Compile, submit, and track expense reports
    • Complete cycle meeting execution: planning, preparation, execution, and follow up action tracking
    • Plan and coordinate department and corporate events (virtual and onsite)
    • Act as the primary liaison between executives and internal/external stakeholders
  • Function as the primary point of contact for leadership team meetings or events by directly providing or brokering/delegating support to capture meeting briefs and summaries, handle critical logistic components, and ensure appropriate follow-up.
  • Take ownership of communications for your leaders by coordinating or directly leading the collection of content and data.
  • Curate content as needed, build PowerPoint decks, coordinate/consolidate/analyze high level reports, draft SOPs
  • Drive simple process improvement
  • Lead and own special assignments and projects 

What You'll Need:

  • 7+ years of related experience supporting VPs and/or C-level executives
  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred
  • Experience with project or program management
  • Able to do basic analytics and Excel
  • Adapts well to changing plans and priorities; comfortable working in an evolving environment and dealing with ambiguity
  • Knowledge of office procedures
  • Experience with office management systems and Microsoft Office
  • Familiarity with online calendars and cloud-based systems
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills (via phone, email, virtual and in-person)
  • Experience exercising discretion and confidentiality with sensitive company information
  • Excellent organizational skills with an ability to think proactively, and prioritize work
  • Have a solution oriented, ‘can-do’ attitude and remain steady under pressure
  • Position may require travel
