Role Definition:
Systematic approach to managing changes to the product's design, manufacturing processes, and supply chain operations. You have to ensure that the changes are evaluated, documented, reviewed, approved, and implemented in a controlled manner. 

Coordinate Product Change Control activities between Engineering Design and Operations, Manufacturing, Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Resources and Safety process partners. 

Coordinate material planners, activities related to maintaining proper levels of stock or inventory and ensure that all customer needs are met in a timely and cost-conscious manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the engineering change management for all BCP India products.
  • Coordinate and balance workload for the Engg. Change Control .
  • Effectively monitoring and implementing the new engineering releases and engineering changes into production.
  • Reduced RSSM
  • Manage MBOM effectivities along with monitoring the exhaust, scrap or rework of all make and purchased finished part numbers.
  • Manage Product Change Control  grief reports and metrics to ensure a high performing team.
  • Establishing new processes, tools, and metrics for future development

  • Advises others in analyzing and synthesizing relevant data and assessing alternatives.

Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.

  • Ensures capture of lessons to be learned from a problem-solving effort.
  • Organizes potential problem solvers and leads problem resolution efforts.
  • Uses varying problem-solving approaches and techniques as appropriate.
  • Contributes to standard practices for problem-solving approaches, tools, and processes.
  • Analyzes and synthesizes information and devises alternative resolution strategies.
  • Develops successful resolutions to critical or wide-impact problems.  

Manufacturing Application Systems: Knowledge of company and industry databases and applications used in a manufacturing environment; ability to operate, maintain and update these systems.

  • Uses and maintains information or data stored in specific application; reports unusual situations.
  • Knowledge in Team Centre, CAD,Creo, SAP,EDS

Process Management: Knowledge of business process improvement tools and techniques; ability to understand, monitor, update, control, or enhance existing business or work processes.

Level Extensive Experience:
• Knowledge and understanding of 6 Sigma project management principles

• Efficient personnel management helps others learn the tools and techniques for process value analysis.
• Demonstrates a thorough understanding of a major process flow, its components and issues, and conduct effective assessment, diagnosis and optimization.
• Makes the business case for new processes, including their cost-benefit ratios.
• Possesses knowledge of tools and techniques for designing and implementing new processes.

Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 4 years experience, preferably in Mechanical/Automobile field.

Knowledge and understanding of 6 Sigma project management principles

CREO, SAP, EDS will be an added advantage.

Other:• •APICS CPIM Certification , oversea work experience ,advance product knowledge is a plus
