Job Description

Opportunity

As a Client Relationship Management (CRM) Analyst/Associate within Brookfield’s Family Office client coverage group, you will support the Family Office team by assisting with a diverse set of initiatives related to client relations and capital raising efforts for Brookfield’s private fund vehicles, across infrastructure, renewable power, private equity, and real estate.

  Position Summary:

  • Provide client service for both current and prospective family office investors

  • Maintain Brookfield’s internal CRM system (SalesForce), as needed by the Family Office team, ensuring that the system is up to date

  • Support the Family Office team on deliverables, including assisting with the preparation of briefing notes and materials for LP meetings, roadshows, and conferences.

  • Liaise with Brookfield Investor Relations, and other internal teams (Project Management, etc.) to support daily operations, as needed

  • Collect data from annual and quarterly reports, and other valuable information on investors and prospective investors to assist with the creation of client summary reports.

  • Coordinate and complete ad-hoc requests both externally, from family office investors, and internally, from internal Project Management Teams and leadership across all fund structures

  • Conduct industry research and client-specific research

  • Work with the Canadian Family Office team to originate new client investment activity

  • Facilitate broad investor communication initiatives and assist with ad hoc conference/meeting planning

 Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree in business or finance, with an excellent academic background and extracurriculars

  • An understanding of financial concepts, keeps up to date with financial news, capital markets, etc.

  • 1-3 years of relevant working experience in the financial services industry; real estate, infrastructure, private equity or alternative asset funds knowledge is a bonus

  • Demonstrates an analytical and qualitative perspective when problem solving

  • Time and project management skills are highly valued.

  • Proactive, detail-oriented and well organized.

  • Highly proficient in MS Office (Word, PPT and Excel), experience with SalesForce

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills that can bring different stakeholders together on delivering solutions

  • Team-oriented attitude with a willingness to continuously learn and share knowledge with others

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines
