Within the Global Supply Chain business (GSC), our dedicated teams are responsible for manufacturing and distributing medicines and vaccines worldwide. They oversee every stage of production, from ensuring the creation of high-quality products at our manufacturing sites to developing effective supply forecasting and managing regulatory inspections—all powered by digital, data, and analytics.

What will you do?  

  • Act as point of contact for root cause analysis of material/product/processing/cleaning issues and rapid resolutionWhere required using multiple sources of data and data interpretation methodsTake part in Continuous Improvement (CI) activities to highlight improvements to equipment and processes. 

  • Act as a point of contact for the top3 waste and top3 quality and for the technical issues collection and evaluation 

  • Act both independently and in cross-functional teams to manage projects. Ensuring delivery of the operational technical responsibilities and project timelines. 

  • Plan and conduct/supervise manufacture of batches with minimal supervisionThis is to ensure the project timescales are met and issues dealt with in real-time. 

  • Perform technical coaching of operators to ensure knowledge transfer to the ‘manufacturing shop floor’ allowing operators to improve their accountability and timeliness of issue resolution. 

  • Actively participate in projects to Support technology transfer of biopharma products: 

  • Ensure that all project team members and the Project Leader are kept fully informed of progress and any technical issues. 

  • Ensure that input is based on the best/up to date information/ available on site and within the Company. 

  • Ensure that the Project Leader is advised of any resource issues such that the project is properly resourced and effectively executed. 

  • Ensure that the Project Leader is kept advised of any changes impacting on execution such that they can monitor and update progress against the project plan.
