Job Summary:
This role leads the Red Hat Global Consulting organization spanning North America, Latin America, Europe, and Asia Pacific and is responsible for all Consulting motions and functions supporting Red Hat’s platforms including AI, Virtualization, Automation, Hybrid Cloud, and RHEL. This leader will also align its strategies with the Global Sales organization, ensuring services motions are well integrated and support the customers of the Consulting landscape. The Red Hat Consulting team enables Red Hat’s customers to receive maximum value from Red Hat’s products for the needs of their business. This role will closely support the execution by the GEO teams and will engage with critical customers directly. This role will establish consistent Global and GEO Consulting KPIs and other metrics in a systematic, consistent approach. This leader, part of the Global Services Leadership team, will be a critical participant in the transformation towards more strategic customer relationships across all lines of the Services business. This position reports to the Vice President of Global Services.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Execute on Red Hat’s transformative vision to deliver exceptional Consulting customer experiences for Hybrid cloud, leading to increased adoption of Red Hat technologies, inclusive of our Ecosystem
Global Collaboration
Collaborate with other Global Services Practice Leaders and all GEO Services leaders, as well as other in-region functional groups, for consistent Consulting strategy and execution
Define, manage, and optimize a consistent, proactive, and cross-functionally aligned Consulting operating model, leading to consistent customer value realization, by design
Sales & Financials
Responsible for the financial performance of the Consulting business; Manage Global forecasting of Consulting services across all GEOs with P&L responsibility
Achieve success measures and KPI’s on Consulting P&L responsibilities including, but not limited to, revenue, sales, margin, and NPS/CSAT metrics
Establish and manage global consulting strategy for headcount, role profiles, resourcing, hiring, skill development, and performance management.
Review and assist with structuring consulting deals for strategic accounts to ensure optimal customer outcomes.
Marketing/Portfolio
Define new Go-to-Market Consulting strategies for the Red Hat Services portfolio
Plan, lead, and manage marketing initiatives across Consulting globally in collaboration with Services Marketing
Represent Red Hat Consulting at Industry events and public speaking engagements
Delivery
Work closely with all Global Sales Leaders to align efforts and ensure optimal customer and partner outcomes.
Function as contact and escalation point between services leadership and our customers
Develop cross-geo deployment models and
Manage hiring plans to maximize global utilization of resources
Required Skills:
10 or more years in a leadership/management role leading high-performance consulting teams in a global role
Experience delivering gross-geography consulting projects
Demonstrated ability to manage global P&Ls
Experience and tenacity to drive transformational change through a large, worldwide organization
Demonstrated ability to lead a distributed organization in a global or geo matrix.
Demonstrated ability to work with external partners and ecosystem, developing win-win relationships that keep the best interest of the customer at heart and also help scale the business at the market level
Strong track record of financial performance reporting including forecasting and P&L management
Background in services, partner, and sales experience with a track record in P&L management
Empathy for customers and partners, and passion for revenue and growth
Analytical and process-oriented mindset
Outstanding communication skills, both oral and written with excellent presentation skills
Financial and operational understanding of value drivers in recurring revenue business models
Bachelor's degree in a technology or any analytical discipline; Graduate degree in management preferred.
English, and ideally other required language skills
Pay Transparency
Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
