Position Summary: 

As the Director of Channel Management, you will have the unique opportunity to create the Company’s distributor strategy and work with a team that is changing the course of proteomics. As a key member of the commercial team, you will lead the strategic direction and guide the execution of our growth plans with our channel partners. You will work with Alamar business leaders, understanding our strengths and priorities and driving market penetration with partners committed to our vision of powering precision proteomics to enable the earliest detection of disease. This role requires an exceptional, visionary leader with strong market insights to help us grow our business.

In this role, you will:

  • Create and drive channel strategy to reach business growth targets globally
  • Build annual plans and performance measures with channel partners
  • Implement scorecard and process for metrics; distribution, collection and ongoing quarterly performance monitoring
  • Structure sales training and marketing programs to drive partner effectiveness
  • Lead channel processes and workflows and maintains a successful business
  • Drive contract development process and negotiations, working with internal functions and external partners
  • Ensure legal and ethical compliance in business interactions

Skills / Knowledge Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in BSc/Commerce/Economics, master’s degree in business administration (preferred) or equivalent work experience
  • 15+ years of demonstrated experience in similar role with a strong focus on sales and channel development in life sciences and medical devices
  • Track record for achieving sales targets, AR collections, and partner recruitment and enablement
  • Ability to work closely with commercial and finance
  • Excellent knowledge and experience working with dealers and distributors in various geographic areas
  • Ability to put a business plan together based on data, analytics, and creative solutions to address opportunities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact with technical and business counterparts

The base salary range for this full-time position is $160,000 - $180,000 + commission + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The ranges displayed on each job posting reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries but are subject to change if the leveling of the role is adjusted.
