Who We Need

SpiderOak is seeking a Sales Engineer to drive technical sales solutions and customer success. This individual contributor will report to the VP of Solutions and combines deep technical expertise with sales acumen.  

The Sales Engineer will be required to:

  • Lead technical sales engagements with prospects and customers.
  • Conduct compelling product demonstrations and technical presentations.
  • Provide pre-sales support and technical guidance to the sales team.
  • Partner with product teams to translate customer needs into solutions.
  • Develop detailed sales proposals and technical documentation.
  • Build and maintain strategic customer/partner relationships.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of proven experience in technical sales or engineering.
  • Strong technical knowledge with ability to translate complex concepts.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • The ability to travel up to 25% for customer/client needs.
