Hospitality Support Services Senior, Blodgett Hospital- 1840 Wealthy St SE- Grand Rapids
Schedule: Full Time, 6:00 a.m.- 4:30 p.m., Every Other Weekend
Pay: $17.50
Team members working in this role will need to display the flexibility to work in two or more work locations and in two or more department roles as assigned by leadership. Department roles included in this job description are Environmental Services Tech, Nutrition Services Tech, Patient Transport, and Supply Chain Material Coordinator and Receptionist. Position to be defined by the department as needed. Based on the assignment, individual must meet the specific requirements of the job profile they are fulfilling.
These Team members maintain shift accountability for support services team member job duties in a cost effective and efficient manner and provides training to new and existing Support Services staff on the department procedures and expectations, and all departmental quality, safety, and customer service standards and expectations.
Work as a team member helping others to contribute to the overall success of Corewell Health. Refer to the job profile of the duties being performed.
Communicates effectively with all hospital staff, visitors, patients/residents to ensure the highest level of customer service and care for our patients/residents, including greeting and assisting in hospital navigation. This position is part of the patient care team and will create a positive impact on the patient's experience by providing a safe, clean, and visually appealing environment.
Completes special projects as assigned, with specific direction.
Provides training and ongoing instruction to new and existing Support Services staff.
Acts as team lead during uplines absence and reports work-related issues to upline.
Assigns, coordinates, inspects employee work assignments, and completes quality assurance inspections.
Ensure that services are provided in accordance with state and federal regulations, accreditation and compliance requirements, and organizational policy.
Navigate between campus locations to support needed operations
