The Role

The Associate Director, Business Analytics & Forecasting will develop and manage forecasting and business analytics, oversee data acquisitions and maintenance across new and established therapeutic areas as well as support business planning to help execute the strategy in achieving a best-in-class Business Insights function at Genmab.

Responsibilities

  • Influence commercial, R&D, and total company decisions with analysis and forecasts
  • Develop methodical and accurate analytical tools, forecast models, and overall process plan to support leadership in creating alignment across global stakeholders and commercial organizations at the country level.
  • Provide expertise in forecasting for new product commercialization and in-line opportunities.
  • Provide analytical support and identify, in collaboration with key stakeholders, business issues and growth opportunities ahead of routine performance reviews (Board Meetings, Quarterly Analyst Calls, Annual Performance / Forecast Reviews).
  • Own and manage the tracking and monitoring platforms (dashboards, reports, etc.) after deployment.
  • Ensure cross functional alignment and data integrity across all stakeholders (global /local) and identify possible solutions /areas of improvements for countries in data reporting and quality
  • Coordinate with external vendors to manage data and key related initiatives

Develop and implement optimal tools for:

  • Patient and market share forecasts
  • Forecasting patient flows
  • Align forecasting and analytics process to business reviews
  • Technical aspects of forecast and model development
  • KPI Launch / Post Launch Dashboards
  • Outputs to clearly reflect source of business, competitive landscape
  • Ensure data integrity across therapeutic areas by setting market definitions and reviewing global and country data purchases

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ years, or Master’s Degree (Statistics/Biostatistics, Mathematics, MBA) with 4+ years of pharma/biotech experience
  • 5+ years of Analytics OR Forecasting experience (US or Global)
  • Oncology, hematology, OR Rare Disease experience is required.
  • Demonstrable evidence of multi-cultural sensitivity
  • Ability to drive complex enterprise wide change initiatives with executive level stakeholders
  • Experience successfully leading global projects with tight timelines
  • High resilience and agility; creative in problem solving
  • Demonstrate a performance mindset with strong personal accountability and ability to collaborate across geographic and functional boundaries.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strategic and analytical mindset

Where you will work: The role is hybrid – 3 days in our Princeton, NJ office.

For US based candidates, the proposed salary band for this position is as follows:

$144,375.00---$240,625.00

The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as bonuses.
