Job Description:
As a Director / Sr. Director of Reporting & Analytics, you will shape the direction of the company in with respect to reporting, data quality & governance, business metrics and broader analytics. You will partner with the leadership team across all business functions to execute on these priorities and drive impact. You will join a newly created Strategy, Pricing & Analytics function and have direct exposure to the top leadership team, plus you will get the opportunity to observe the impact of your work quickly translate into action across our network.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Define and implement the company-wide reporting strategy
- Define metrics and KPIs that allow evaluating business performance in an accurate and timely manner
- Identify reporting needs for every business unit and translate into requirements that the Data & Analytics team can implement
- Partner with our Data & Analytics team within the Technology organization to define the organization’s data architecture needs and reporting infrastructure
- Identify business owners for each data domain, and ensure all reporting adheres to adequate data integrity standards
- Define a data governance framework and oversee its effectiveness
- Ensure all business units have adequate reporting at all levels
- Conduct ad hoc business analyses to drive operational and financial decisions
- Deliver timely and accurate insights to address key business questions by creatively synthesizing relevant data from across the organization
- Build data tables, queries and models to identify trends in performance and inform business decisions
- Prepare reports, summaries, visualizations and trackers to measure performance of business initiatives
REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong proficiency in PowerBI and other reporting tools
- Strong proficiency in SQL and other database management tools
- Proven experience in a reporting or data analysis role, delivering high-value business insights based on data
- Ability to understand complex data and translate it into meaningful reports
- Detail-orientation with a focus on accuracy and data integrity
- Experience working with IT teams to develop and implement reporting solutions
- Ability to break down and solve problems through quantitative thinking and analysis
- Experience with financial modeling
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Consulting experience preferred
- Experience managing team members preferred
