Team/Role Overview:

The Operational Risk Management (ORM) Structures and Taxonomies team is looking for a senior risk manager to help drive the implementation of Bowtie methodology across Citi’s ORM programs.

What you’ll do:

Primary responsibilities for this role will be focused on the implementation and then quality review of key bowtie requirements across ORMs event driven programs. This will include:

• Helping drive key bowtie requirements (tech and non tech) to Operational Risk programs, to include consistent identification and capture of cause, event and impact(s)
• Ensuring training, procedures and overall guidance is in place prior to deployment
• Coordinate and lead quality review during a 12-18 month sustainability period
• During and post sustainment period, continue to maintain a strategy with key stakeholders for effective (and timely) implementation of additional data to key reports.

What we’ll need from you:

• Strong Operational Risk acumen, to include deep understanding of Operational Risk programs/frameworks
• Previous project management skills 
• Ability to influence and communicate effectively across senior levels
• Ability to consistently shift from tactical to strategic objectives (and vice versa)    
• Excellent problem-solving ability  
• Proven effective leadership skills.
