The HR Manager, Global Products is responsible for the delivery and execution of HR services to employees and managers in our fire detection, fire suppression and ducted systems businesses.  You will perform a variety of employment related functions for the ultimate purpose of enhancing employee engagement, productivity, and ensuring employee compliance with company policies.

How you will do it:

  • Under minimal supervision, provide Human Resources partnership support to a large and/or remote workforce.

  • Partner with HR leadership to lead/support human resources programs, including the following: organizational change/effectiveness, implementation of process improvements including HR change initiatives, planning, and facilitation; recruitment and talent management, workforce planning, training and development, performance management, organizational talent reviews, compensation administration and diversity, equity and inclusion.

  • Work with leaders and employees to establish and maintain a positive work environment while driving employee engagement and a high performance culture.

  • Leverage the full capabilities of the Human Resources (HR) organization, e.g., centers of expertise (COE’s), shared service centers, business HR ad compliance.

  • Coach and consult managers on a variety of routine complex employee relations issues.

  • Provide training on Human Resources programs to customer groups and employees.

  • Participate in the implementation of organizational changes and support with appropriate change management processes.

  • Conduct investigations and recommend actions to effectively resolve policy violations. Seek counsel from legal as necessary to ensure proper risk management. Elevate matters to HR leadership or other authority as may be appropriate.

  • Leverage reputation as a neutral and approachable HR professional to identify the best solution based on the situation.

  • Actively participate in projects/continuous improvement initiatives from design through implementation.

What we look for:

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.

  • Minimum 8+ years’ experience as an HR generalist or HR Manager.

  • Must have solid human resources generalist skills, especially in the areas of HR operations, talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations and, where applicable, labor law and labor relations. 

  • Must be able to quickly gain trust and build relationships.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. 

  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously in ambiguous situations and adapt quickly to change, as well as guide varying levels of the organization through change.

  • Strong process orientation; demonstrated experience in planning and execution of HR processes and programs that deliver consistency and high levels of customer satisfaction. 

  • Ability to manage through conflict while maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders.

Preferred

  • Master's degree in Human Resources or related field.

  • Some travel may be required.

This position is hybrid and will require you to be onsite 2-3 days a week at our Westford, MA location.

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $104,000 -140,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) This role offers a competitive Bonus plan that will take into account individual, group, and corporate performance.  This position includes a competitive benefits package.
