In this role, you will play a crucial part in translating Micron's Global Procurement (GP) strategic objectives into program roadmaps that deliver distinct and measurable benefits for the organization. You will lead a team of leaders in driving cost savings programs, ensuring organizational alignment, and optimizing category performance. By successfully applying project management and organizational change management concepts, you will contribute to the achievement of GP strategic priorities.

Key Responsibilities
Program Management

  • Lead projects and programs using an organized and results-focused approach to achieve all goals within budget, timeline, and scope constraints.
  • Regularly report out on project status, manage risks, and implement solutions to ensure successful project implementation.
  • Actively engage with other cross-functional teams on project opportunities to enable competitive advantage and achieve successful implementation.
  • Establish methods for measuring and monitoring program performance.
  • Leverage prior experience and learning to optimize and improve the efficiency of the methods.
  • Oversee and manage the performance metrics and KPIs for the Global Procurement organization. Ensure team members meet their targets and adhere to defined KPIs.
  • Manage regular follow-ups related to Global Procurement tasks that require a high caliber of collaboration and coordination.
  • Lead and manage Global Programs with strong execution and tenacity. Develop and implement strategic execution plans with targeted timelines.

Leading through influence

  • Implement organizational change management methods and tools to increase the speed of adoption and capture project or program return of investment.
  • Ability to exercise judgment and adapt accordingly to encourage and persuade others to adopt the change required for a successful implementation of the program.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Develop positive relationships with stakeholders to enable a competitive advantage, achieving program and project objectives and successful implementation.
  • Actively engage with other cross-functional teams on project opportunities to enable competitive advantage and achieve successful implementation.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering or Computer Science with 10+ years of experience in program management and project management

  • Proven experience in program management, preferably in a procurement or supply chain domain
  • PMP, Scrum Master or related Project Management certifications preferred
  • Proficient in O365, SharePoint, Tableau, Power BI, MS Project, Visio, Agile/backlog management (e.g. Azure, Jira, Confluence), or equivalent
  • Effective leadership and collaboration abilities
  • Strong communication skills and ability to effectively manage relationships with various parties involved
  • Ability to work effectively in a global and diverse team environment
