The Senior Internal Auditor is responsible for execution of assigned internal audit projects as part of the overall approved Internal Audit plan or SOX 404 testing of significant processes.  This position reports to the Internal Audit Manager and will support projects locally and around the world as needed.

 

This responsibility includes:

 

•    Performing of complex-level professional internal auditing work such as

o   Providing key input to development of the annual audit plan; and

o   Identifying risks and evaluating the efficiency and effectiveness of internal controls with stakeholders and external audit

o   Execute audit activities in accordance with professional standards and minimal supervision

•    Performs audit procedures around IT General Controls (ITGCs) and IT Application Controls (ITACs), including identifying and defining issues, developing criteria, reviewing and analyzing evidence, and documenting client processes and procedures.

•    Conducts interviews, reviews documents, develops and administers surveys, composes summary memos, and prepares working papers.

•    Identifies, develops, and documents audit issues and recommendations using independent judgment concerning areas being reviewed.

•    Communicates or assists in communicating the results of audit and consulting projects via written reports and oral presentations to stakeholders and external auditors

•    Conducts data extraction, analysis, and security reviews utilizing software tools.

•    Performs related work as assigned by audit management, majority under SOX 404 controls testing

•    Travel to other company and customer locations as required by the project

 

Qualifications:

•    Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and at least three years of full-time experience in auditing, accounting, business analysis, or program evaluation, and conducting information technology audits is preferred.  

•    CPA; a second certification (CIA or CISA) preferred.

•    Knowledge of industry program policies, procedures, regulations, and laws.

•    Knowledge of generally accepted audit standards, statements, and practices, and information technology, security and control practices.

•    Experience in performing SOX 404 audits for manual, application controls and IT General Controls, preferred.

•    Experience in auditing or accounting and in conducting audits in information systems and other areas pertinent to the semi-conductor industry, preferred.

•    Knowledge on SOX relevant business process, ERP system such SAP ECC or S/4 is a plus

·       Skill in collecting and analyzing complex data, evaluating information and systems, and drawing logical conclusions.

•    Possess strong written and verbal communications and presentation skills. 

•    Exhibit leadership, teamwork, and client service skills are necessary. 

•    Good interpersonal skills. 

•    Has the ability to work independently but can also work with others in a team environment

•    Highly collaborative and flexible in the sense that he/she can also handle operational and compliance reviews.

•    Self-starter, willing to learn and analytical

•    Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook and Visio

•    Intermediate skills in performing data analytics using ACL preferred

•    Amenable to work on multiple time zones, flexible working hours and onsite as required
