The Engineer II is responsible for the administration of internal systems. Duties include support, troubleshooting, upgrading, patching and enhancements to applications.  This position will require a high level of interaction with various teams across the organization for the management of issues and support tickets.  The Engineer II will be responsible for troubleshooting and administering various business applications while providing measurable customer service.

  • Works within team environment to administer and complete various department tasks
  • Performs administrative tasks, as required
  • Delivers superior customer service to both internal and external customers
  • Contributes to a positive, professional, cooperative and efficient work atmosphere and openly communicates work information to others in a timely manner
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and deliver complex projects
  • Understanding of all infrastructure components including client / server, network, database, storage, and applications
  • Demonstrated ability and willingness to document and measure processes, procedures, and projects
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to thrive in a changing environment, and effectively and efficiently manage time across multiple projects and responsibilities
  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Application experience implementing, managing, maintaining both cloud and on-prem solutions
  • Experience Implementing, Managing and Maintaining SharePoint 2019+ Farms
  • Experience in administering and supporting Atlassian products including JIRA, Confluence, and Bitbucket
  • Proven ability in one or more scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, batch, etc.) and development tools
  • Ability to solve technical or operational problems and evaluate options based on relevant information, resources, experience, and knowledge
  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Computer Science or Information Systems, and/or equivalent formal training, technical certification or equivalent experience

Compensation Pay Disclosure:

Voya is committed to pay that’s fair and equitable, which means comparable pay for comparable roles and responsibilities.

The below annual base salary range reflects the expected hiring range(s) for this position in the location(s) listed. In addition to base salary, Voya may offer incentive opportunities (i.e., annual cash incentives, sales incentives, and/or long-term incentives) based on the role to reward the achievement of annual performance objectives. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Voya Financial is willing to pay at the time of this posting.

Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted salary range based upon the candidate’s geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

$85,000-$92,000
