HP Inc. Partner Business Management team is in search of an individual with the following attributes: Accountable, Hard Charging, “IT CAN BE DONE!” attitude with excellent decision-making skills to join our team as a Business/RFQ Analyst focusing on Commercial Notebooks, Mobile WorkStations, Mobile Retail Point of Sales, and Mobile Thin Clients.  As a Business/RFQ Analyst, you get to work and lead many analytics, dealing directly with Suppliers/ODMs/OEMs, Sales Operations, NPI, Marketing and R&D engineering, and TCE/Q.

Business Analytic is the art of collecting and analyzing data that help HP understands the performance of our ODMs to ensure we achieve the Best in Class Operating Model!  Business Analyst is a well-trained professional who performs the analysis, running various mathematical calculations to determine how to best use the data to achieve the Best in Class Operating Model.

A well-suited Candidate needs to have the desire to excel in being a leader in the opportunities below:

  • Collaborate with across team to address ODM operations from a Quote Management perspective to ensure Quote data are analyzed and processed accurately and timely.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and lead/develop recommendations and provide insight for management.

  • Independently execute Generation to Generation cost analysis to identify opportunities for cost reductions.

  • Comfortable in dealing with Executives (Directors and VPs) on escalations.

  • Define and review cost metrics on a regular basis, identifying opportunities for improvement actions to address ODM Cost performance.

  • Manage quantitative and qualitative cost data models to support proactive supply chain operation activities & priority projects.

  • Drive timely the completion of business negotiations as it relates to ODM cost adders

Skills and Experience Required: 

  • Excellent understanding on how to model for data comparison that can tell THE Story!

  • Strong understanding of the current cutting edge analytical tools, models and methods for making key business decisions.

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of how to analyze business problems using Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), statistical analysis, and financial modeling.

  • Good communication and influencing skills; English and local language.

  • Good business acumen and technical knowledge within the PC Business

  • Good internal and external relationship management skills.

  • Good project management skills, with capability to manage cross functional teams in multiple geographies.

Education Required:

  • First level university degree or equivalent experience; Procurement/Supply Chain, Mathematics, Business and/or advanced university degree preferred.

  • Typically, 1-3 years of experience Procurement and Data Analytics that leads to sound decision making.

The base pay range for this role is $53,700 to $82,700 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only).  Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
