Role Summary

We are seeking a Performance & Monitoring Engineer to support enterprise application and infrastructure performance, enable proactive issue detection, and ensure system reliability. The role involves configuring monitoring tools, analyzing performance metrics, managing alerting workflows, and collaborating with operations teams to maintain SLAs and application health.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and manage application & infrastructure monitoring tools such as Dynatrace and Nagios

• Set up dashboards, synthetic monitoring, real-time metrics, and alert policies for production and non-production environments

• Analyze performance bottlenecks and recommend tuning or optimization strategies

• Develop and maintain health checks, performance baselines, and usage trends

• Integrate monitoring outputs with ITSM tools (ServiceNow) for automated incident creation and escalation

• Work with infrastructure, application, DevOps, and SRE teams to address critical performance issues

• Support incident, problem, and change management processes to ensure operational stability

• Produce periodic performance reports, KPI metrics, and recommendations for capacity planning

• Automate monitoring tasks and reporting where applicable

Required Skills & Experience

• 3–8+ years in Monitoring, SRE, NOC, Performance Engineering, or Operations

• Hands-on experience with:
  ✔ Dynatrace
  ✔ Nagios
  ✔ ITSM tools (ServiceNow preferred)

• Understanding of performance telemetry, monitoring, and IT operations KPIs (SLAs, SLOs, MTTR, MTBF)

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication capabilities
