We're looking for you

We are seeking a highly strategic and execution-driven Director of Product Solutions to lead our new product strategy and development with a strong emphasis on AI-driven innovation. The successful candidate will be pivotal in understanding customer needs, developing value creation opportunities, and generating value capture business models. This role demands deep experience in SaaS product management, strategic thinking, and business acumen, coupled with exceptional leadership and people development skills. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in leveraging advanced technologies, particularly AI, to drive product initiatives that deliver significant business impact.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy:

  • Lead customer segmentation, targeting, and positioning, with a deep understanding of customer pains and the identification of AI-driven value creation opportunities.
  • Define our solutions strategy, portfolio and product outcomes, continuously managing product performance against expected outcomes and exploring innovative ways to create value.
  • Develop sustainable business models for our products, maximizing value capture, simplicity, and traction while reducing customer acquisition, delivery costs and environmental footprint.
  • Continuously challenge and optimize our product portfolio to maximize business acceleration, competitive edge, and market differentiation through AI capabilities.
  • Lead executive reviews and presentations regarding product strategy and long-term planning.

Product Management:

  • Lead the Product Managers team, who drive the Product Oriented Delivery teams (POD) to convert customer needs, value levers and use cases into product requirements with a focus on leveraging AI technologies, working in close collaboration with the Software Engineers, AI/ML engineers and Customer Experience.
  • Define product SaaS business model and pricing, owning business performance and future growth expectations.
  • Define the value delivery system, including go to market, service and support strategies in close collaboration with the sales and support teams.
  • Continuously measure the product performance and KPI’s, looking for ways to improve the product value creation, reduce friction and optimize the business model.
  • Collaborate closely with the Marketing organization to define the marketing plan and develop compelling marketing content and customer presentations.
  • Continuously scan the market and analyze competition, providing actionable insights, and developing competitive intelligence and sell-against tools.
  • Participate in sales trainings and customer events, showcasing our product strategy and differentiators.

Strategic Partnerships and Alliances:

  • Develop key industry partnerships to accelerate our product delivery plans, selecting the right companies, and defining mutually beneficial business models.
  • Establish solid collaboration with key internal stakeholders, like the hardware sales teams, the Customer Success organization, finance and sales operations, and the bigger community of SW & AI at HP.
  • Build and maintain a portfolio of potential future strategic alliances and M&A opportunities, with a focus on enhancing our capabilities and market position.

Leadership and Team Development:

  • Foster a culture of innovation and excellence within the product team, promoting continuous learning and development, particularly in emerging technologies and methodologies.
  • Mentor and develop team members, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to drive the product strategy.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in product strategy and management, within a global and complex organizational structure.
  • Proven experience in SaaS business models and solid financial acumen and analytical skills.
  • Strong understanding of Cloud & AI technologies, trends, and practical applications relevant to the print sector.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, ability to engage and align diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Strategic thinker and change agent, with strong teamwork and execution skills to drive the vision inside the organization and lead the change. 
  • Relevant advanced degree (e.g., MBA, Computer Science, Engineering) is preferred.
