We offer a role as Engineering Project Manager, who could be based in Aliaxis Zola Predosa (BO) and report to the Engineering Manager Italy.

This figure will manage a portfolio of CAPEX projects for the development of different sites and will be responsible to manage the full process from project specification to execution and commissioning, ensuring delivery quality and alignment with his internal customers (Manufacturing / Supply chain / Administration). The candidate will work closely with external parties (engineering services and suppliers).

The Key Responsibilities can be summarized as follows:

• The figure will be responsible for project management along the full life cycle.
• Ensure that all projects are delivered safely, on time, within scope and budget.
• Define project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
• Develop Cost & Schedule Estimate.
• Develop a detailed project plan to schedule key project milestones, workstreams & activities and to track progress.
• Ensure the flawless execution of projects through direct supervision and/or coordination of third parties/vendors.
• Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables.
• Frequently project update to SteerCo and stakeholders.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including technical specifications.

Required Qualifications and Competencies:

• Bachelor’s/master’s degree in mechanical, industrial or management engineering.
• 5 plus years of solid experience in similar role by proven record of experiences in industrial manufacturing environment.
• Experience with coordinating and leading capex projects in production/manufacturing environment (Project Management), through the full life cycle.
• Previous experience in plastic industry and/or extrusion or injection moulding process is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills, well able to understand company processes.
• Strong interpersonal skills, team player, ability to convince and persuade and conflict resolution aptitude.
• Good communication skills, local language and English are a must.
• Strong organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
• Solid MS Office skills.
• CAD professional knowledge and skills will be considered a plus
• Strong software skills and ability to understand, analyse and present data.
• Availability to travel to different Italian sites where projects are under development and or execution is a must.
