McKesson Medical-Surgical is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Associate Trainer to join our Corporate Operations Learning and Development team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive training to warehouse operations personnel, focusing on train the trainer content to ensure successful cascade of training materials within the distribution centers. Your primary objective will be to foster an environment of world-class education, where our team members can acquire the knowledge and skills necessary for understanding and performing tasks effectively, while also facilitating their personal and professional growth.


This individual will also participate in Go-Live/post Go-Live activities to ensure our conversions/business transfer activities happen smoothly and exceed our customer's expectations on service.

Schedule: 8 AM to 4 PM

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with functional team specialties to understand training needs and approach them with high energy and a positive attitude.
  • Conduct training sessions for warehouse personnel virtually as well as onsite, covering standard operating procedures, work instructions, and job aids.
  • Assist Senior Associate Trainers in process and functional task and support activities, ensuring adherence to required procedures and processes.
  • Collaborate with various teams and departments to provide effective training support.
  • Break down complex learning topics into easily understandable training sessions for employees.
  • Demonstrate adherence to our ICARE & ILEAD principles in all interactions and training sessions.
  • Deliver confident presentations to sizable audiences of all levels of team members and management.
  • Coordinate with local DC leadership to create training schedules that do not impact DC production.
  • Follow and update project plans as necessary to ensure timely execution.
  • Meet timelines in accordance with overall project demands.
  • Support Go-Live activities on the warehouse floor, to include system testing and configuration when necessary, demonstrating trained processes.
  • Ability to pivot and adjust quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to provide and receive constructive feedback within a team setting.
  • Represent McKesson with enthusiasm, bringing excitement and creating buy-in for processes while delivering a world-class training experience.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Ability to work remote/travel 75% or greater
  • Typically, minimum 0-2 years of relevant experience. May have degree or equivalent.
  • Ability to work remotely when not traveling.
  • Flexibility to stay over weekends as needed, including 2-week stays.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences.
  • Organizational and time management skills to handle multiple training projects simultaneously.

Additional Requirements:

  • Warehouse operations experience a plus
  • Excellent command of MS Office applications
  • Excellent command of English in both written and verbal communication.
  • Acute attention to detail is a must.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team setting, as well as independently.
  • Ability to follow/update project plans.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Our Base Pay Range for this position

$20.51 - $34.19
