Key Responsibilities

  1. Provides leadership and direction through managers for assessing existing and potential markets. Demonstrates broad and comprehensive understanding of technical and business environments.  Develops and articulates strategies to meet business objectives for a broad functional area
  2. Accountable for the performance and results of cross functional groups within a business to integrates products into a coherent portfolio of products focused on the market.  Manages portfolio like a “product” (business plan, positioning, buying process, market requirements, and marketing plan)
  3. Analyzes market data to identify trends/opportunities, develops strategic direction from market information, and creates compelling market analysis presentations
  4. Directs and controls the activities of a broad function area and provides guidance to personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function. Drives the growth process
  5. Maps the needs within targeted markets and analyzes abstract market segmentations.  Determines which segments to actively pursue
  6. Works with management team to ensure that overall marketing function is effectively meeting the organization’s strategic goals
  7. Creates a product strategy that is integrated with AMAT products
  8. Illustrates the vision and key phases of deliverables for products for a broad functional area

U.S. Salary Range:

$172,000.00 - $236,500.00

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.

For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
