Job Summary

• Oversee and manage the accounting activities, ensuring adherence to deadlines, quality standards, and the accuracy and integrity of accounting records.

Job Description

  • Manage daily accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and expense tracking.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records, receipts, and documentation for all transactions.
  • Coordinate and supervise the monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting closing processes, guaranteeing their timely and accurate execution.
  • Prepare and present financial statements and reports in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP/IFRS), ensuring their accuracy and regulatory compliance.
  • Record activities between international subsidiaries for month-end balance balancing.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Recommend improvements to accounting workflows, tools, and systems to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  • Help implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent financial discrepancies.
  • Identify operational issues, escalate them appropriately, and work with various teams to clear outstanding balances on the balance sheet.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with internal audit and lead the external audit, facilitating the information and documentation required for the review processes.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external accounting inquiries, supporting the company's financial and strategic decision-making.

  • Previous experience as accountant > 3 years, and leadership > 2 years
  • Previous experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Highly organized with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Capable of working independently and dependably in a remote setting.
