We are seeking a Senior QA and Automation Engineer to join our team, responsible for upholding high-quality standards throughout our product suite. Your primary focus will be on owning the QA test automation infrastructure, with the objective of achieving stability, and reliability, and producing clear reports for the platform. Working closely with the engineering and product teams, you will be involved in devising the testing strategy, identifying components suitable for automation, and creating, writing, and executing test cases for NVIDIA applications. In this role, you will also review software requirements, ensuring comprehensive testing coverage, and contribute to the development of new tests while updating existing ones. We are looking for a collaborative individual who excels at communication, possesses a creative and data-driven mindset, and is determined to deliver results.

What you'll be doing:

  • Writing automation infrastructure in multiple frameworks (Python, Selenium). Developing sophisticated, stable, automation frameworks to increase efficiency, re-usability, and flexibility. Enhancements & maintenance of each framework.
  • Schedule test runs, publish reports and analysis with detailed and specific bug reports for failures
  • Report bugs found during execution, assist with bug reproduction and debug sessions to understand root cause, and verify bug fixes provided by the R&D team.
  • Collaborate and work closely with remote teams. 

What we need to see:

  • Practical / BA / BSc in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Python or other OOP language
  • 5+ years of using Linux systems.
  • Familiarity with OOP concepts and Design Patterns.
  • Independent, responsible worker and enthusiastic about computer engineering.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Experience with Java Automation Languages.
  • Strong background with the Selenium framework.
  • Experience in Networking test design and automation. 
  • Background with QA Methodologies and testing tools (HP-ALM /Redmine).
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD and Test-Driven Development.
