The Global Business Director is a key strategic leader within BU responsible for driving the development and execution of the global business strategy and plan for their Business Unit, including building the team of leaders & product management and Sales professionals to deliver results. This person will develop the strategy for portfolio growth by having a deep understanding of customer needs and global market trends, prioritizing strategic initiatives, and focusing on building strategic relationships with our technology and business development teams. This position will develop a network based on credibility, quality solutions, and driving initiatives that make an impactful difference in our overall growth.

In addition, The Global Business Director functions as the key customer driver in the marketplace to increase the sales, profitability, and market share of assigned business lines.  The incumbent will provide direct interface with existing and new customers to fully satisfy their needs and will bring additional user knowledge to the organization.

This role directly manages GT Sales team and Product Management Team. This role will work closely with Operations, Technology & Innovation, Business Development, supply chain, procurement, quality as well as have significant interface with customers.

You Will Have an Opportunity To:

  • Lead the development and execution of the global strategy for portfolio growth by understanding customer needs and global market trends for the business unit; Accountable for overall success of relevant product lines including achievement of revenue, margin, growth, and quality metrics.

  • Partner with Technology and Business Development teams to demonstrate new and higher standards for well-executed new product introductions and commercial tactics to drive growth for existing products; Influence NPD roadmap decisions and product definitions through market driven insight.

  • Develop a strategic rationalized portfolio of products within the product line, including growth, margin improvement and lifecycle related initiatives; Responsible for the leading and developing the product market and product strategy.

  • Lead product management teams and sales teams associated with the product line.

  • Coordinate sales distribution by establishing sales territories, sales forecasts, quotes, quotas, incentives, methods, and goals, and advise dealers, distributors, and clients concerning sales and advertising techniques.

  • Keep current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors to manage product mix and price; Research, analyze and monitor financial, technological and competitive factors so that market opportunities may be capitalized on and the effects of competitive activity may be minimized.

  • Solve customer problems through interface with technical service, production, quality assurance, and customer service.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or business field

  • Preferred: PhD, Masters Degree or MBA

  • Minimum 15 years’ professional experience with 10 years’ experience in leadership position

  • Experience to manage P&L>$50M global business

  • Global experience in product management and new business development.

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical and financial information.

  • Interpersonal skills with keen ability to explain complex concepts to others.

  • Demonstrated project management skills.

  • Experience to handle Tier1 semiconductor customers, such as TSMC, Samsung and etc.

  • Up to 50% of travel is required for this role.


 

Pay Range:

$141,300.00 - $225,700.00

Actual base salary offered varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.

The selection of the person to be hired for this position is contingent on the candidate having export compliance eligibility for access to U.S. controlled technology which comes under the licensing jurisdiction of the U.S. Department of State, International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the U.S. Department of Commerce, Export Administration Regulations (EAR).

The candidate selected will have to qualify as either a U.S. citizen, a U.S. National, a lawful permanent resident of the U.S., a Person Admitted into the U.S. as an Asylee or Refugee., a National of a country that is not prohibited from having access to U.S. controlled technology (via a letter of assurance), or a Person to be approved for an export license by the governing agency whose technology comes under its jurisdiction.
