Summary:

In this role, you will work collaboratively across departments to ensure the effective utilization, maintenance and continuous improvement of the Workday platform, leading a team to support business functions utilizing Workday, like human resources, payroll, performance management, talent acquisition, finance & accounting and others. You will find ways to automate manual tasks through the careful implementation of process, integrations, and system upgrades.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with HR, IT, Finance, Operations, and other departments to identify and implement system improvements and optimize processes across the organization.
  • Serve as the key liaison for all Workday technology initiatives, establishing technology roadmaps, ensuring alignment with overall business and technology goals.
  • Lead the Workday team in the ongoing support, enhancement, and management of Workday modules (HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Talent, Finance & Accounting, etc.).
  • Oversee the implementation, configuration, and upgrades of Workday to enable efficient and effective processes.
  • Ensure that Workday configurations meet the organization’s needs, including but not limited to system administration, data security, workflow efficiency, and process automation.
  • Oversee the development and management of system integrations between Workday and other enterprise applications.
  • Manage system upgrades, patches, and enhancements, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Provide leadership in troubleshooting and resolving system issues, as well as ensuring timely user support.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the Workday team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Manage external vendors, consultants, and contractors involved in the implementation and support of HRIS systems.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred.
  • 7 or more years of experience in Workday ERP Management required.
  • 7 or more years of experience leading Workday Financial and Workday HRIS teams preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Workday HR and FIN processes, workflows, and best practices preferred.
  • Workday certifications in FINS, HCM, Reporting, and other relevant modules are highly preferred.
  • Deep expertise in Workday HCM, including configuration and administration of modules such as Core HCM, Payroll, Benefits, and Talent Management.
  • Strong project management skills with experience leading large-scale ERP, HRIS and/or ERP implementations or upgrades.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to leverage data to drive decision-making and process improvements.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with agile software development.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $135,200.00 to $223,200.00.
