The People Partner is part of a global community of HR partners, providing BU support to key stakeholders for their geographic region. This role will be responsible for the delivery of HR activities that support the business strategy across Convatec, with specific alignment to the business units and functions represented in the Nordic region, in addition to being part of the Europe & UKI regional people partner organisation. As People Partner in Denmark, we serve as primary HR point for two locations in Denmark, as well as three locations across Norway, Sweden and Finland.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as primary liaison for the local people leaders in the commercial organisations across the Nordic countries
  • Develop trusted relationships with the leaders to proactively support business needs and drive the people agenda for the business, incl. providing HR legal support
  • Effectively manage and/or participate in HR processes related to Talent Management, Performance Management and Leadership Development for the region
  • Lead and support the implementation of changes in the Nordic region, including but not limited to workforce planning, organisational design & development, re-organisation etc.
  • Act as Convatec primary representative in local negotiations of collective agreements for all hourly and semi-salaried employees at our plant site in Osted (near Roskilde). Ensure implementation of collective and local agreements, ensure compliance.
  • Act as advisor to HR colleagues in complex HR legal matters - across all the Nordic countries, but primarily in Denmark
  • Participate in global, local or regional projects, as assigned.
  • Review and maintain country specific people policies and make recommendations for changes, as necessary. Conduct regular reviews and ensure compliance with local labour regulations at all times
  • Function as HR representative in work environment council (AMU), ensuring adherence to Danish employment law and developing constructive relationships.
  • Lead and support retention initiatives basis turnover data and employee surveys

YOUR PROFILE

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, e.g. within law
  • Min. 3 years’ experience and proven track record from working with negotiation of collective agreements for hourly paid and semi-salaried employees
  • Deep knowledge of Danish employment legislation
  • Knowledge of Norwegian, Swedish, Finnish employment legislation
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, often with conflicting demands and timelines.
  • Business acumen and a pragmatic, solution-oriented attitude
  • Ability to influence and challenge at different leadership levels
  • Execution-oriented with strong prioritisation, problem-solving, analytical and communication skills
  • We require a attendance of minimum 2 days per week in the office in Søborg
