Job Description:

The Project Analyst is responsible for supporting the Project Managers with overseeing and coordinating projects, contributing to strategic project planning to support cross-functional and companywide initiatives. In conjunction with the Project Manager, the Project Analyst is responsible for becoming a subject matter expert within the product or service from initiation to close of project. The Project Analyst will be instrumental in ensuring optimal project performance by driving insights from data, establishing KPIs, monitoring and evaluating the overall project (s).  This incumbent will leverage critical thinking and problem-solving skills to serve as a strategic partner to the business and the project team with a desire to learn and grow. Up to 10% travel may be required.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain vendor UST compliance testing schedules and input work orders for services needed to maintain environmental compliance.
  • Track and update repair work orders to alert stakeholders of work being performed and any subsequent issues.
  • Input alarms and update UST system alarm status to notify stakeholders of any potential problems that may occur.   Respond to critical changes in site status in the event of bad weather to alert stakeholders if any major changes or incidents have occurred. Analyze trends with repeated alarms to identify root causes and make suggestions for permanent solutions. 
  • Review the daily automated reports and identify if any actions need to be taken to resolve potential issues.  Responsible for creating service tickets from testing failure notices and tracking those failures.   Review state notifications of deficient documentation and submit the required paperwork to keep the sites in operation.
  • Conduct weekly conference calls with vendors to review the schedule and discuss the potential issues causing delays with the compliance dates.  Create and supply the upcoming schedule to stakeholders and submit the work orders to testing vendors for the next week of testing.  
  • Facilitate and distribute the construction schedule, weekly testing, and any other repair schedules that may impact store operations.  

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from 4-year College or University; a focus on, finance, business communications, or related field preferred
  • 1-3 years’ experience within a business, consulting, or analytical role preferred; a focus on engineering, finance, management, information systems and/or business-related field preferred.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to adapt to an ever-changing environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office preferred proficiency in Excel.
  • Experience in project management software, smart sheets are a plus.
